Formats and Schedules of Autumn 2008 Classes 52-A Wednesdays begin October 1. Enrollment closes September 29. 52-B Saturdays begin October 4.  Enrollment closes September 29.  Five formats of classes are woven into each KCIAHHMAS program of professional certification.  1) On-site full-day classes are held every other week at the KCIAHHMAS private nature sanctuary, 9:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.     2) Telephone conferences convene for two hours, 8 p.m. - 10 p.m., alternate weeks.  3) Structured Home labs are pre-arranged week by week by students at their schedules and locations, approved by Dr. Carlson.  4) A group practicum is arranged every month by consensus at a student's location.  5) Day-long field trips number 3 - 4 per semester.  Attendance at all class formats is required for certification.        These phone and on-site events begin the curriculum of certification as Holistic Massage Practitioner or Holistic Healing Practitioner, as follows:   Class 52-A meets by phone Monday evening Sept. 29, and on site Wednesday, October 1.    Class 52-B meets by phone Monday evening Sept. 29, and on site Saturday, October 4.   The following week,  52-A meets by phone at 8 p.m., Mon., 10/13.    52-B meets by phone at 8 p.m., Mon., 10/13.  Wed., Oct. 15 is an on-site full-day 52-A class.   Sat., Oct. 18 is an on-site full-day 52-B class.  This schedule repeats for the semester, with a few exceptions noted in the schedule distributed at Class #1.  Arrival at class is 9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.; departure is 8:30 - 8:45 p.m.  Students bring their own nourishing lunch and dinner.
